CASE SUMMARY

Pursuant to the Colorado Constitution's redistricting procedures, Colorado's Independent Legislative Redistricting Commission is required to submit their final approved legislative plans to the Colorado Supreme Court for a mandatory review and approval process. The Commission filed their final plans and petition for review with the court on October 15, 2021, and interested parties submitted briefs in support or opposition to the plans by October 22. On November 15, 2021, the Colorado Supreme Court issued an opinion approving the Commission's final legislative plans, thereby allowing them to be filed and go into effect.
