Last year, ESRI published their Updated Demographics Dataset which included a 2025 population estimate. This population is sourced from U.S. Census Bureau products, building permits, housing starts, demolitions, USPS delivery counts. Census data can often have a delay especially in smaller geographies which is why it can be helpful to supplement the census data with these other data sources.
